Peg

The Peg tab in the Properties window displays the properties of the peg you have selected.

Name: name of the peg.
Start: first frame that the peg appears in.
Duration: length of the peg.
Loop Mode: number of times the peg is repeated in the scene.
*Scale: relative size of all elements attached to a peg, except cameras. This is a static value that represents the starting point for all dynamic scale changes.

Any dynamic changes you make to the scale are multiplied by the peg's starting scale value.

Keep Proportions: forces the peg's horizontal scale value to be the same as the vertical scale value. This means that Toon Boom Studio will maintain the horizontal and vertical ratios for all elements attached to the peg.
*Skewing: skews the angle of the peg. This value represents the angle at which a peg will be skewed. The elements that are attached to the peg will appear slanted by the degree of the angle.
*Rotation: angle of rotation for the peg. This is a static value that represents the starting point for all dynamic rotation changes. Any dynamic changes you make to the rotation are added to the peg's starting rotation angle.
Apply pivot to: in this panel, you select the pivot point you want to move away from the center of the motion path. The option you select determines the pivot point values that are displayed in the Pivot Path function in the Function Editor. The pivot point of the unselected option follows the motion path.

Rotation: allows you to move the pivot point for the rotation of a peg.

Scaling: allows you to move the pivot point for the scaling of a peg.

Constant Z: forces the front/back value of the peg to remain the same between keyframes.

* You can manually type values in these fields to change the properties of a peg.
